About Dr Lugo

Dr. Tania Lugo is a board-eligible Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and received her medical degree from from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Lugo began her residency in Long Island, New York and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is now ecstatic to be in her beloved home state of Georgia for practice. Dr. Lugo enjoys all aspects of her practice, but holds a special interest in prenatal care, menopause management and minimally invasive surgery. Her dedication to evidence-based medicine and patient education along with her empathetic manner make her special and an excellent provider of women’s healthcare. She is a Junior Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. When away from her patients, Dr. Lugo enjoys cooking, tennis and planning her next adventure with family and friends.
